I love Jackson and could live here. Seriously, I can actually survive here because of all the gluten free choices. Two that I really want to mention are The Jackson Whole Grocer and Thai Me Up.

The Jackson Whole Grocer is a wonderful food market where the produce is delicious, the people are friendly and the gluten free selection is abundant. If you are passing through or stopping for some outdoor fun make sure you stock up here.

Thai Me Up is a delicious Thai food restaurant that caters to gluten free diners. I teamed up with my hubby to taste test a few different menu items. There was nothing to disappoint. I was excited to have spring rolls again (which are served with a great peanut sauce) and a couple different noodle dishes. Mmmmm, taste bud heaven! (They have a kids menu too.)

Food Not Fit For Bears

Yellowstone National Park (Day 12)

We spied all sorts of wild critters around Yellowstone. It all was quite amazing, the one exception - the food. We only tried a couple restaurants around Grant Village, but were disappointed by everything food related. Service, food, flavor, and prices were all lacking in every way. Even the scrambled eggs at the café, which came out of a milk carton, were served still in a semi-liquid form and tasted nothing like eggs. I talked to several other people (gluten free or not) who were grumbling too. If you’re a camper or a bear, I would definitely stick to the goodies in your ice chest.
